Repligen Corporation is looking for a Manufacturing Associate in Fermentation to
join our Recombinant Protein Manufacturing team. The successful candidate must
be willing to rotate between first and second shifts. He/she will play a key
role in ensuring the department's production and quality goals are met.
Applicants must have strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
Candidate must be able to follow oral and written instructions accurately, to
learn complex tasks quickly, and to complete tasks in a timely manner.
Experience working in a GMP/document controlled environment would be beneficial.
Attention to detail and the ability to work in a team environment are essential.
Candidate must also be willing and able to learn new manufacturing processes as
the company grows.
JOB ACTIVITIES INCLUDE (but not limited to):
- Operation of large scale process equipment, including bacterial fermenters
- Product recovery using TFF
- Large scale buffer preparation
- Heat and pH precipitation
- Aseptic liquid fill
- Equipment sterilization and cleaning (CIP/SIP)
- Timely completion and review of production documentation
- Entry of in-process data into trending databases
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor s degree in biological sciences (or related field) or- a minimum
of two years experience in production/purification of recombinant proteins
- Experience with bacterial fermentation would be beneficial
- Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential
