CASH MANAGEMENT TECHNICIAN (TREASURER'S OFFICE)
Hiring Salary Range $29,182.40-$37,315.20 per year
(Final compensation depending on qualifications) 40 hours per week
The Cash Management Technician performs multiple, highly detailed duties that
require extensive experience with Excel, Access, Word, as well as other
Microsoft Office applications.
Responsibilities include providing responsible funds management and
performing financial reporting, payroll and other accounting processes;
compiling all City monies and preparing bank deposits according to auditor
mandates and sound internal controls; performing a variety of responsible
accounting assignments requiring independent judgment; auditing files and
documents for completeness and accuracy; preparing revenue forecasts.
REQUIREMENTS:
The successful candidate will have superior computer skills, advanced research
abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and
banking practices.
- Experience with remittance processors, check signers and endorsers
preferred.
- A high school diploma or equivalency and three to five years of accounting
experience is required. An Associates Degree in Business Management or
Accounting may be substituted in part for experience.

with applicable state and federal laws, the City conducts pre-employment drug
