Position Description
•Service Specialists deliver our EcoSensitive Pest Prevention services to our commercial clients
•Perform daily route travel to client facilities
•Interaction with clients on a regular basis
•Conduct regular inspections of client facilities
•This is a Day Shift position, but may include some Night Shifts or Weekend on-call work
This is a great alternative to a career in the facility/ground maintenance, trade fields or transportation industry
Requirements Position Requirements
•High School Diploma/GED
•Stable work history - No more than three (3) jobs in the last five (5) years
•A valid driver's license and good driving record, no major violations and no more than 3 minor violations in the past 3 years
•Must be able to physically perform the essential duties of the position which include lifting 40lbs chest high, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, balancing, walking and standing
•Must pass pre-employment Background Check and pre-employment and random Drug Tests
•Computer skills - Basic knowledge required
Desired Skills and Experience
•At least two (2) years work experience in a service environment
•Previous experience working independently and with little supervision
•Previous experience in Route or Delivery work a plus
•Excellent customer service skills
•Strong attention to detail
•Good decision making skills
•A positive, can-do attitude
•Enjoys hands-on work
•Prior experience in the pest industry is a definite plus, but not required
