We're looking for a detail oriented, extroverted person who takes pride in a
job well done. This job will best be done by someone with strong event and
project management skills and an interest in the environment. This job will
involve a lot of correspondence and phone calls with start-up companies,
sponsors and investors. Impeccable writing and phone skills are essential.
Full management, the organization and development of the Cleantech event
logistics
- Event Scheduling and venue - Initial site assessment and recommendations
- Act as the conduit to the hotel s sales staff
- Work with Managing Director on marketing emails and calls
- Website and competitive event research/culling of companies
- Schedule and manage them onsite
- Act as the conduit to sponsors for their logos, ads and descriptions
- Put together all other attendee pack pieces
Qualifications
- A highly capable business-oriented individual with 5-7 years of experience
in conferences and large events
- Experience in developing budgets, doing project plans and executing
logistics
- Experience coaching companies raising venture funding
- Familiarity with a broad range of vendors and event technologies
- A strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Excellent listening and communications skills: written, verbal and
presentation
- Bachelors degree in business or humanities
