Interior Community Health Center (ICHC) was established in 1993.
Its mission is to provide universal access to excellent primary
health care. It is committed to delivering services in a manner that
is sensitive, compassionate and responsive to the needs of all
members of the community.
To meet that mission, ICHC provides medical, dental, preventive and educational services for people in Alaska's Interior.
Interior Community Health Center (ICHC) functions just like other
private clinics with physicians, dentists, nurse practitioners,
physician assistants, dental hygenists, nurses and other health
professionals.
What makes this center different is its attention to the whole person. ICHC routinely offers its patients health education, health promotions, care management, transportation, translation and other patient assistance services.
